The Power of Pausing and How to use Reflection for Growth

There used to be an old Slogan once used by coca cola, they call it Coke, “the pause that refreshes”. That is what reflection is to someone who desires to grow. Learning to pause allows growth to catch up with you. They call it The Law of reflection.

So if you are one of those, who don’t stop to think after you make experience. The list below will help you get on track in regards of pausing to reflect.

1.    Reflection turns Experience into Insight

They say that experience is the best teacher. Truly experience is the best teacher if its evaluated..  That means reflecting on your experience. There is an old joke that experience is a hard teacher because the test is given first and the lesson is given afterward. That is true but only if you take time to reflect on that experience.

Many of us have had a bad experience as network marketer such as experiencing false promises. Taking time to pause and reflect enables you to learn. Many network marketers really did have bad experience, some learn from it some not because they never take time to pause and reflect.  That is why it is important to pause and let understanding catch up with you.

 2.    Everyone Needs Time to Pause and Reflect

Someone that does not pause and reflect is losing if you want to succeed. In fact, stopping to reflect is one of the most valuable activities you can do to grow. In my opinion, it is a much greater value to you than motivation.

Why? Because pausing allows you to make sure you are on track. After all, if you are walking down the wrong road, you do not need motivation to find direction,  what you is, stop, reflect and change course.
Learn to schedule time for you to pause and think on what you just experience and learn from it. It is very good, and you will benefits from it.

I know we are all busy, lots of demand is on us as network marketer online, rushing to do too many things at a time. Along this way, you have certain good experience which you probably marked. If you don’t take time to pause and reflect, you will miss the significance of such event. Reflection, allows those experience to move you from life marker to life maker.

Pausing to reflect makes your life better because you not only understand the significant experience of what you have experienced, but you can implement changes and make correction to your business as a result. You will be also better equipped to teach others from the wisdom you have gained.

3.    Pausing with Intention Expands and Enriches Thinking

Study the lives of great leaders who have made an impact on network marketing industry.  They too spent considerable amount of time thinking. Most universities give their faculty time not only to teach but to think research and write. Time alone allows people to sort through their experience and put it into perspective, as well as plan for the future.

As a future leader of your network marketing business Team, do not let responsibilities make you neglect to stop and take time to think, it is an important thing that leaders do.

I strongly encourage you to make a place and time to think and to discipline yourself to pause and use it, because it has the potential to change your life. It can help you to figure out what works for your network marketing business and what doesn’t..

Pausing means stopping and really figure out things. That generally, requires you to ask question. Put that experience inside your mind, simmer it for a while, like meditating over it, listen to your inner self and learn.

As Jim Rohn remarked. At the end of each day, you should play back the tape of your performance. The result should either applaud you or prod you.
