Knowing or being able to work with different personality type of people you interact with helps you in your quest to get them to side with you and go along with your ideas.

This will help you to decide what strategy to use when trying to persuade them to pursue a particular course of action. Personality defines a person’s attitudes, perceptions and belief and recognizing of a person’s type can help
you to communicate with them better. So whether it’s for partnering
with you or any other situation knowing or guessing a person’s
preferences can be valuable.
Identify and dealing with different personality type
Some
people are cautious and circumspect, while others are daring and
adventurous. Knowing and classifying a particular type gives us an idea
of the different ways people have of interacting with other people. It
shows us their preferences.
Introversion and extroversion
As
we go about our everyday lives, we meet people who are open and
friendly; the label extroversion would probably be applied to them. This
does not mean that they are any more emotional or caring than those
with an introversion perspective who may be more reserve in a social
setting. The extrovert type of person will make them self-noticed and
often speak without thinking whereas the introverts are usually more
cautious by nature and think more often about what they are going to
say. The extrovert speak loudly and fast while introvert speak quietly
and slow.
So
your success in influencing, others usually involve matching the other
person in the early stage in other to gain rapport of the person you are
dealing with. Each and every one of us has Different Personality Type and we have preferred style of making decisions. So when you identify the type of person you are dealing with, then you need to adapt your approach so that it addresses the way the person think.
Tips on influencing Different Personality Type for a successful outcome
- · Avoid talking too much
- · Explain things in a logical manners
- · Emphasize what can be achieved immediately and in long-term
- · Conduct your dealings in a business-like manner
- · If the interaction ultimately relates to money being spent or invested, emphasize value and savings
- · Look for shared interest
- · Highlight the benefit of your proposal to them
- · Use all your natural empathy to conduct things on a personal basis after you have got to know them better
- · Ask lots of questions and listen a lot
- · Show your natural friendliness during your interaction
- · Try to go with the flow of what they want and adapt as necessary
- · Don’t inundate this person with detail, get the acceptance first and leave practicalities to the end
- · Probe for their ideas at the outset
- · Show that you recognize their vision/concept and beware of giving the impression of being patronizing
- · Allow them freedom to maneuver if this is possible ( they will like option)
- · Be logical in your proposals and emphasize cause and effect
- · Concentrate on Business
- · Be well Organize
Introversion and extroversion help to define our personality when we are trying to influence a person.

always will meet people who have to make decision after hearing your
point of view. Many misunderstandings occur because people have different personality type, and so an insight into a person style of operating and thinking can help you deal with personality successfully.
